Morning Class – Contemporary & Improvisation
The purpose of this classes is to prepare the mind and body for a wide range of movements: various forms, qualities, and dynamics to create dancers’ unique plastique. Participants learn to control muscle tension, use the connection between center and limbs, distribute body weight correctly, and find the logic of movements in their bodies to create maximum movements with minimal effort. They will work with contraction/release techniques, swings, spirals, flow, isolations, manipulations and do improvisation exercises. In this classes is all about trusting the body, expressing thoughts and emotions through movement, interacting with space and enjoying the dance.
